Candy Surprise Jello Cups
Colorful, fun, and full of sweet surprises!
Ingredients
- 2–3 flavors of Jello (different colors and flavors work best for contrast)
- Boiling water (as directed on the package)
- Cold water (as directed on the package)
- Gummy bears, Skittles, or other small candies
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Candy pieces, mini marshmallows, or sprinkles (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Prepare the first Jello flavor:
Follow the instructions on the box, mixing the powder with boiling water until dissolved, then adding the cold water. Allow the mixture to cool slightly—this prevents the candies from melting. -
Pour the first layer:
Pour a thin layer of Jello into each clear cup. Drop gummy bears or Skittles into each one before it sets. Refrigerate until firm, about 20–30 minutes. -
Add the next layers:
Prepare your next Jello flavor, let it cool a bit, and gently pour it over the first set layer. Continue building colorful layers, letting each one chill and firm before adding the next. -
Finish with a sweet topping:
Once the final layer is fully set, top each cup with a swirl of whipped cream and sprinkle on some extra candy or decorations. -
Serve and enjoy:
Keep refrigerated until serving. These cups are best enjoyed cold—each spoonful reveals a hidden candy surprise!
Tips
Cool before layering: Always let each new Jello flavor cool to room temperature before pouring to keep the layers clean and the candies intact.
Mix and match: Try pairing bright flavors (like lemon, cherry, and blue raspberry) for a bold rainbow look.
Make ahead: These cups can be made a day in advance—just add the whipped cream right before serving.
