The delivery of an alcoholic product is a little bit different than your standard online purchase. Please take a few minutes to read over our policies and procedures to ensure the smooth delivery of your product.
Hours of Operation & Turnaround Time
Boozy Bites business hours are M-F 9 am to 5 pm Central Standard Time. All estimated fulfillment and delivery times are based on Boozy Bites Business Days. Orders must be placed by 3pm to get picked up by UPS the same day.
2nd Day Air transit time starts the day after pick-up. Please note Saturday delivery varies. Refer to the UPS website to make any delivery changes. UPS sends automatic notifications with updates and transit time.
*Note Boozy Bites will be closed on the following week days, and thus no orders will be shipped out on these days: 9/4, 11/23, 12/25, 1/1/2024.
If anything breaks, we give you the option to either receive a replacement product or a full refund for the cost of the damaged goods.
If you have received a damaged product, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email, please include your name, order number, and a photograph of the problem along with a clear description, so we can make sure this never happens again. Once we receive your email with all requested information, we will resolve your issue right away!!
In the case that we need the damaged items returned, we will cover the return shipping cost.
On-Time Delivery Guarantee
We offer a discounted ground shipping (which is free for orders over $150), as well as full priced expedited shipping options.
Our discounted (Free over $150) ground shipping option is designed to be efficient and economical. This option does not come with any guarantee of delivery date or time. Products ordered with ground or free shipping, will not be eligible for a refund if they are not delivered by a specific date.
Priority and expedited turnaround options are perfect if you really need your order by a specific date. These paid turnaround methods are backed by our on-time money back guarantee. Your order will arrive on or before a specific date. Please note, the guaranteed delivery timeline starts the business day following your date of purchase, and is based on Boozy Bites Business Days. Please note the holidays on which Boozy Bites will be closed and thus, these days do not count towards turn around time. If the courier’s first attempt to deliver your order is after the guaranteed delivery-by-date, we will refund your shipping costs.
Please note the following exclusions:
- Any package containing alcohol legally requires the signature of someone 21 or older. If delivery is attempted on or before the guaranteed delivery-by-date but fails because no one is able to sign for the package then the shipment is not eligible for the on-time delivery money back guarantee.
- Delays caused by the courier or weather are not eligible for the on-time delivery money back guarantee.
Returns & Refunds
If you have any issue, other than shipping, with your order please reach out to email@example.com and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
Packaged that are returned to us as undeliverable for any reason, including, someone was not available to sign for the package, the customer rejected the package, or the package was not picked up from the UPS location after the 3rd delivery attempt, will be eligible for one of two options.
- We will reship your package immediately. Standard shipping rates will apply.
If the purchaser does not wish to pay for re-shipment, you will be eligible for a product refund minus a reshipping and restocking fee. This fee is equal to:
- Orders of 1 Box: $22
- Orders of 2 – 3 Box: $35
- Orders of 4+ Boxes: $50
For this reason, we ask that you please be certain someone will be able to sign for your delivery at the shipping address you have selected before submitting your order.
If a box is returned to us, we will reach out via email as soon as possible. If you would like to speed up the process, email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you realize your order is being returned – please include your order number and a new address (if you want to have the order shipped back out).
To provide you with the most affordable shipping possible, we calculate our rates in real time using the items in your order and delivery location. Our ground shipping is discounted by 60% to provide you with an economical option. All expedited prices are directly passed through from UPS. To view shipping costs, add items to your cart and enter your address in the first step of checkout. To return to your cart after viewing shipping costs, click “Back to cart” in the top right corner of checkout.
Where We Ship
The states we ship to are continually expanding. To see a full list of all states we ship to, please visit our home page under Where We Ship.
Additionally, we cannot ship packages containing alcohol to Military addresses or P.O. boxes. These locations will not hold alcohol under any circumstances. Also, please use caution when shipping alcohol to a School, College, or University as many educational campuses ban alcohol deliveries.
We don’t ship anything internationally or to U.S. territories at this time.
Shipping Confirmation Emails
You will be sent a confirmation email from UPS containing your tracking number when all or part of your order is shipped, and it is your responsibility to monitor your delivery & ensure a signature is provided to the courier.
Someone over the age of 21 must be available at the time of delivery to sign for the package. UPS will attempt to deliver your package on 3 consecutive business days. After that, if the package is returned to us, you will have one of two options, as stated above in under “Returns & Refunds – Undeliverable Packages.”
If UPS is unable to deliver the package after three attempts, UPS’s standard process is to send the package to the nearest UPS hub where the package will be held for 3-5 business days before being returned to Boozy Bites. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Boozy Bites is not responsible if UPS returns your package after 3 attempts, instead of holding it for pickup first.
If you do not have anyone who can sign for the package at home, we strongly recommend shipping to a commercial address. Don’t have a business address that you can ship to? You can ship directly to any UPS pick up location. Once your order arrives, you will have 5 business days to provide a signature and pick up your order. Please note, the name on the package must match the ID of the signee.
Rerouting Alcohol Shipments
Once your product is shipped from Boozy Bites, UPS is responsible for the delivery of your product. Thus to make any changes, you will need to work directly with UPS. If you would like to schedule your delivery with UPS, you can do so by setting up a free UPS MyChoice account:
- Sign up for an account at: https://www.ups.com/us/en/services/tracking/mychoice.page.
- Once you receive a UPS Tracking number from Boozy Bites you can log into your UPS MyChoice and click on Manage Home Deliveries under the Quick Start menu.
PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: Someone must be over 21 to sign for the package. For this reason, we ask that you please be certain someone will be able to sign for your delivery at the shipping address you have selected before submitting your order.
If you are unable to reroute your package via My UPS, email your new address to email@example.com. Re-routes, or delivery updates processed through Boozy Bites, after your order has shipped, will cost $18 per package.
